Parent Skills 2 Go

Founded in 2010 and led by CEO and Executive Director Margaret Taribo, ParentSkills2Go CIC is a voluntary, parent-led group that promotes social, economic, and mental wellbeing for Global Majority families in the borough of Southwark and the surrounding areas.

They do this through providing support services, training programmes, and leisure activities - as well as working in partnership with service providers to improve outcomes for this target community group. They have organised over 300 activities for families and young people, aimed at fostering community connections and enhancing wellbeing. Through the Mayor of London's Kitchen Social initiative, they have also provided more than 5,000 nutritious meals to children and families, helping to alleviate food insecurity.

How we're partnering with the Alliance

Trust and Health Creation Partnership

The Trust and Health Creation Partnership is a three-year programme funded by the South East London Integrated Care Board (SEL ICB), bringing together By and For and grassroots VCSE organisations, NHS Prevention Leads, King's Health Partners and the South East London VCSE Strategic Alliance. Together, we are exploring how trust, relationships and community leadership contribute to community-led health creation, and how health and care systems can better understand, support and invest in the conditions that help communities thrive.
