South London and Maudsley (SLaM) NHS Foundation Trust provides the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK and aims to be a leader in improving health and wellbeing locally, nationally and globally. The Trust serves a local population of around 1.3 million people across south London - including Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham and Croydon - while also offering specialist mental health care for children and adults across the UK and beyond. Each year SLaM provides inpatient care for over 5,000 people and treats more than 40,000 in the community. It combines high-quality treatment, world-leading research and expert training to improve outcomes and promote recovery for its service users.
