Exploring strategic VCSE partnerships

The South East London Integrated Care Board (SEL ICB) hosted a research event on September 4th, focusing on “Leading systems in collaboration.” The event brought together researchers, practitioners, and leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities within Integrated Care Systems (ICS). Key themes included the importance of building trust and fostering open dialogue between statutory bodies and the voluntary and community sector (VCSE), the need for genuine co-creation and co-production, and the challenges of securing stable, long-term funding for VCSE organisations. The event highlighted successful collaborations and emphasised the potential for these partnerships to drive positive change in community health services.
