Trust and Health Creation Partnership

Trust and Health Creation Partnership

We’re partnering with the South East London Integrated Care Board and King’s Health Partners to co-create a prevention and health-creation collaborative with five grassroots ‘By and For’ VCSE organisations. Together, we aim to build trust, foster equity, and promote wellness within communities facing the greatest health inequalities, increasing confidence in preventative care through community-powered support.

Trust and health creation partnerships

Community-driven health

We're working with the South East London Integrated Care Board (ICB) and King’s Health Partners to partner with five grassroots ‘By and For’ VCSE organisations embedded in our local communities to co-create a prevention and health-creation collaborative that will build trust, foster equity, and promote wellness within communities who experience the greatest health inequalities. Our vision is to increase local people's trust and confidence in the preventative care our system provides by fostering wellness through community-powered support and transforming health-led prevention services.

Capacity-building funding

for grassroots organisations

The Capacity Building Fund supports infrastructure VCSE organisations to provide tailored support for micro, ‘By and For’ grassroots VCSEs serving underserved communities across south east London. It aims to enhance the sustainability of these organisations, strengthen capacity-building efforts across our region, and ensure diverse, impactful services for marginalised groups. The fund also helps grassroots organisations diversify their funding sources and fosters greater collaboration between the VCSE sector and the South East London Integrated Care System (ICS).

Access to NHS spaces

for South East London's VCSE sector

We're dedicated to providing free and low-cost access to NHS spaces for Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations embedded in south east London. By collaborating with property management specialists and the NHS estates team, we're working to identify available spaces and connecting them with relevant VCSEs to support and benefit local residents.

Mapping our VCSE sector

in partnership with south east London's Councils for Voluntary Services (CVS)

This partnership project, led by Lewisham Local and involving all six south east London Councils for Voluntary Services (CVSs), provides a detailed analysis of the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector across the region. The report maps current service provision, networks, and funding sustainability in alignment with the South East London Integrated Care System’s (ICS) five strategic priorities: prevention and early intervention, early years, children and young people's mental health, adult mental health, and primary care for those with long-term conditions. It highlights areas for growth, collaboration, and the vital role of grassroots organisations in supporting underserved and marginalised communities.
